The WoW Movement ("we", "us") is a Singapore social enterprise. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, how we use it, and your rights under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

What we collect

  • Contact form: your name, email address, subject, and message.
  • Join applications: your name, email address, organisation (if provided), and any details you share in the form.
  • Mascot directory submissions: mascot details you submit for review.
  • Mascot poll: your vote choice. No name or email is collected when voting.

Why we collect it

  • To respond to your enquiry or application.
  • To manage membership of The Mascot Club, WoW Creative Community, and Community Partners.
  • To review and publish community-submitted mascot directory entries.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked to join our community.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics, a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics service that collects aggregate page view data. It does not use cookies and does not store personal identifiers.

How your data is stored and protected

  • Form submissions are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), protected by access rules so that only our administrator can read them.
  • Form submissions also trigger an email notification to our team inbox.
  • All traffic to this website is encrypted with HTTPS.
  • Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam. Turnstile may process your IP address to verify you are human.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions for as long as needed to handle your enquiry or manage your membership, and review stored submissions periodically to delete those no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Email us at hello@thewowmovement.sg and we will respond within 30 days.

Third-party services we use

  • Vercel - website hosting and cookieless analytics
  • Google Firebase - database for form submissions and the mascot directory
  • Cloudflare Turnstile - spam and bot protection on forms
  • Gmail - email notifications of new submissions to our team

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the website.
